A sculpture of a life-sized human brain sitting on a porcelain plate. The brain, made of gelatinous material, jiggles, dances, trembles and spasms and produces small sounds.

Along with its playful comic presence, Brain on a plate opens a door to a question - where is the sound? Is it in space, in the objects, in our body, inside the brain?

Brain on a Plate, 2022
